North Lewisburg Man Indicted On Protection Order Charges In Auglaize County

A North Lewisburg man has been indicted in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court on multiple felony charges.

According to court records, Jeromey B. Combs is charged with six counts of violating a protection order, each listed as a fifth degree felony.

The case was filed April 21st. Court records list alleged offense dates between December 29th, 2025 and January 15th, 2026 in Auglaize County.

A warrant on indictment was issued through the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant return was filed May 5th, stating Combs was arrested and brought to Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.

At a May 5th bond and arraignment hearing, Combs entered not guilty pleas to all six counts. The court appointed the Auglaize County Public Defender as his defense counsel after finding him marginally indigent.

Combs was ordered to post an own recognizance bond. Special bond conditions include complying with the existing protection order, having no contact or association with the person named in the protection order, not leaving Ohio without written permission from the court, and not consuming or possessing alcohol, drugs, or substances of abuse.

A telephonic pretrial is scheduled for May 21st at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Frederick D. Pepple.
