30 year old Dallas Fortner of Rockford is being held in the Mercer County Jail on a $100,000 bond for a 2nd degree felony charge of felonious assault along with misdemeanor charges of criminal damaging and vandalism. According to the police, Fortner allegedly attacked 2 people in a car over the weekend by smashing their vehicle and windows with a baseball bat.
