In 2007, Richard Mittie of Celina was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the sexual battery of a child. This week, Mittle, who has been incarcarated in the Allen County Correction Institution, was brought to Mercer County on 4 1st degree felony charges of rape. The alleged offenses occured in the early 2000's. Mittie, who is now 70 years old, is being held in the Mercer County Jail . He is due to appear this week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
