Our speaker, Steve Dorsten, brings unmatched expertise to the topic. A retired Canal Lands Supervisor with 38 years of service at Grand Lake State Park’s Canal Lands Section, Steve managed and operated all state-owned canal lands from Cincinnati to Toledo.

Today, Steve continues to champion Ohio’s canal history as President of the Delphos Canal Commission, Secretary of the Miami and Erie Canal Corridor Association (MECCA), Secretary of the Johnston Farm and Indian Agency Friends Council, and a member of the Canal Society of Ohio.
