Pitsburg – On June 17, 2025 at 7:47 p.m. Darke County Deputies, along with Pitsburg Fire and Arcanum Rescue, were dispatch to 8046 SR 722 reference a male subject pinned beneath a vehicle.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Mark Angle (52) of Arcanum was working on a vehicle in his garage.  Angle had the vehicle setting on blocks while he was working under the vehicle. The vehicle came off the blocks, pinning Angle under the vehicle.  A family member located Angle and jacked the vehicle up and pulled Angle out from under the vehicle.  Angle died from his injuries he sustained. 

The Darke County Coronor’s Office was called to the scene as part of the investigation. At this time the incident is being ruled accidental.
