This week, 27 year old Chase Worthen of Lima was arrested on misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and criminal damaging stemming from an incident in June of last year. Worthen allegedly smacked the victim several times and held their mouth closed, causing injury. Worthen is being held in the Mercer County Jail on a  $100,000 bond.

Also arrested was 27 year old Colin Applegate on a misdemeanor charge of telecommunications harrassment. According to the complaint, Applegate allegedly made contact after he was told not to contact a person or anyone on the premises. Applegate is free on bond.
