Gary L. Stoker

Gary L. Stoker, age 55 of Celina, passed away on April 25, 2025 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys after an industrial accident. He was born on November 14, 1969 to Thomas and Pamela (Fannon) Stoker in St. Marys. On June 16, 1990, he married his high school sweetheart Amy Watercutter, who survives in Celina. He is also survived by his loving children Kyle (Rachel) Stoker of Mendon, Zachery “Zach” Stoker of Celina, three grandchildren Bentley, Weston, Graham, his mother-in-law Rebecca “Becky” (Makley) Watercutter and sibling Lori Ramsey.

His is preceded in death by his mother, father-in-law Marvin H. Watercutter, who he was close to and spent a lot of time with and brother Chad Stoker.

Gary graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School with the class of 1989. Gary was formerly employed at Monarch Stamco, Mechanical Installation Inc., Maverick, Good Year in St. Marys, and CAPT in Celina where he was a Maintenance Engineer.

Gary cherished many years of camping and fishing with his children and, more recently, his three grandchildren. These trips were filled with laughter, many interrupted naps under the trees, and countless cups of coffee and often ending with evenings spent around the campfire. Gary really enjoyed going to Antique shops, making stained glass items and he had a natural talent for making and fixing anything. That is one of the many, many things his wife and kids will really miss about him. Gary also really enjoyed being a grandpa to his 3 grandchildren and watching their different activities. Gary was an extremely hard worker who is leaving a lasting legacy of love, and a hole in the hearts of each member of his family that can never be filled. He will be greatly and deeply missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp officiating.
