Arrest of Zachary Lee Ellis

On 4-8-25 at about 11:44PM Celina Police responded to a call of yelling by a female in the 200 block of E. Anthony St., Celina. Upon arrival officers found Zachary Lee Ellis, a 33 year old man who resides a 222 E. Anthony St., Celina. Ellis had a warrant for his arrest for Telecommunications Harassment.

When officers attempted to arrest Ellis he fled on foot, leading officers on a foot chase through several residential properties in the area. Ellis went over a fence and was then stopped with a TASER deployed by Celina Police. He was taken into custody and then to jail after a medical evaluation.

Ellis now has additional charges of Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree as well as Obstructing Official Business, also a misdemeanor of the second degree.
