24 year old Bailey Luckett of Lima pleaded guilty this week for her role in an October 2024 traffic crash that resulted in the death of 44 year old David Shutt of Lima. Luckett pleaded guilty in Auglaize County Common Pleas court to aggravated vehicular homicide and illegal conveyance. The conveyance charge was a seperate case. Luckett faces up to 8 years in prison when she is sentenced in about 6 weeks. In October, Luckett was driving driving on I-75 near the rest area in Auglaize County when she stopped on the road in front of a semi. Shutt ended up hitting the semi and was killed. Luckett was found a short time later after fleeing the scene.
