Several people were injured Wednesday afternoon after a car pulled out in front of a semi at the intersection of State Route 707 and State Route 49. According to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, 20 year old Alexander Meyer of Celina was driving a semi north on 49. 49 year old Jessica Carroll from Wabash, Indiana was stopped at the stop sign on 707 and pulled out in front of Meyer and was struck. Carroll and a passenger were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A second passenger in her car was airlifted to a Ft Wayne hospital with serious injuries. This accident remains under investigation.
