38 year old Rodney Schloss of Sidney has been indicted by a Mercer County Grand Jury on a 5th degree felony theft charge and a first degree misdemeanor theft charge. According to the indictment, one 2 occassions in January, Schloss allegedly stole from a local merchant. The first incident was a theft of over 19-hundred dollars. The second incident involved nearly 630 dollars. Schloss is being held in the Mercer County Jail without bond pending his first appearance in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
