On February 25, 2025 at approximately 5:24a.m. Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Darke County Sheriff Accident Reconstruction, Greenville Township Fire and Rescue, and Greenville City Fire responded to the intersection of U.S. Route 36 and Westfall road in reference to a two vehicle accident with injury.

 

 Preliminary investigation revealed that a Red 2010 Ford Fusion, driven by Trevor Mardin (19), of Greenville, was traveling Eastbound on U.S. Route 36. A Silver 2005 Honda Pilot, driven by Jordan Wolfrey (34), of Greenville was traveling Westbound on U.S. Route 36. The two vehicles collided head on, causing Mr. Mardin to be ejected.

 

Mr. Mardin was transported to Miami Valley Hospital where his condition remains unknown at this time. Mr. Wolfrey was transported to Wayne Hospital for minor injuries.

** The driver Trevor Mardin 19, of Greenville has died at Miami Valley Hospital.  

 

 This accident remains under investigation.
