Republican State Senator Susan Manchester of Waynesfield has introduced a bill intended to create a health plan for the Ohio Farm Bureau. This bill creates an dividually evaluated plan, self-governing and self-funded for members of the bureau to make it exempt from regulation and Affordable Care Act guidelines. Republican State Representative Bob Peterson of Sabina plans to introduce a compantion bill in the Ohio House of Representatives. These bills are based on a similar model operating in 6 other states.
