49 year old Samuel Paul of Celina has pleaded guilty to 2 second degree charges of felonious assault stemming from a November shooting at a house on North Sugar Street in Celina. Other charges, including attempted murder were dismissed. According to the police, Paul shot 25 year old Christopher Mangus in front of the house after a series of incidents. Police reports suggest Samuel Paul had an ongong dispute with Mangus and his wife, who is Paul's Step Daughter. Paul had allegedly stated that if Mangus came back to his house that he would shoot him. Samuel Paul will be sentenced on Wednesday March 5th. Paul could be sentenced to 2 to 8 years on each count.
