Grand Lake Task Force conducts undercover drug buy

On February 5, 2025 at approximately 5:00 P.M. The Grand Lake Task Force conducted

an undercover drug buy. The suspect was a male from Montgomery County and he was
to deliver and sell drugs to an undercover agent. The undercover buy was to take place
at the Walmart in Wapakoneta.

The male arrived and the undercover buy was completed. The purchase was for
approximately 240 grams of Methamphetamine and approximately 5 grams of Fentanyl.
The male was taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle was
conducted with nothing further being located.

The male was transported and booked in to The Auglaize County Corrections Center.
Taken into custody was:

Christopher A. Brown Age 33 Dayton, Ohio

Charged with: Trafficking in Drugs Ohio Revised Code 2925.03(A)(1)(C)(1)(e)

The Grand Lake Task Force is made up from Deputies and Officers from Departments in
Auglaize and Mercer County.

Assisting was FBI Northwest and Southern Ohio Safe Streets Task Force, Montgomery
County Range Task Force, Auglaize County Sheriff's Office, Wapakoneta Police
Department, and Tne Ohio State Patrol.

The incident remains under investigation.
