34 year old James Reed of Russells Point faces a 5th degree felony charge of theft in an incident this past weekend at the Celina Walmart. According to the complaint filed in court, Reed allegedly placed items in a large plastic tote and walked out without paying for them. Reed left with another man who did not face charges and was stopped on Havemann Road by the Celina Police. Reed reportedly admitted to the theft. The 2 totes were recovered. The stolen merchandise was worth nearly 18-hundred-dollars. Reed is being held in the Mercer County Jail pending an apperance in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
