From the Darke County Sheriff's Office:

On February 1, 2025 at approximately 8:39 a.m. Darke County Deputies along with Pitsburg Fire Department and Arcanum Rescue responded to the 2200 block of Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road for a reported one vehicle injury crash with possible ejection.  

 

Preliminary investigation revealed a black Honda HR-V driven by Cara Geiger 28, of Pitsburg was traveling northbound on Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road when she drove off the right side of the roadway colliding head-on into a tree.  The driver was not ejected.  The driver is suspected of being under the influence of a drugs at the time of the crash, and was transported to Miami Valley North for her injuries. 

 

This crash remains under investigation.
