40 year old Joshua Evers of Celina was arrested this weekend by the Mercer County Sheriff's Office on a first degree misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. According to the complaint filed in Celina Municipal Court, Evers allegedly caused harm to a family or household member by putting his hands on her neck and choking her on Saturday. Evers was taken to the Mercer County Jail pending an appearance in court. To view the complaint:

Evers is free on his own recognizance after pleading not guilty Monday Morning. Evers is due back in court on February 20th
