CBUS RAPE SUSPECT

A MAN IS BEING HELD ON A $750-THOUSAND DOLLAR BOND AFTER ALLEGEDLY RAPING AN ELDERLY WOMAN IN COLUMBUS LAST WEEK. 
IT HAPPENED AT A HOME OFF A BUSY EAST EAST LIVINGSTON AVENUE, AROUND 2AM TUESDAY, AN 87-YEAR-OLD COLUMBUS WOMAN TELLS POLICE SHE FELL ASLEEP ON HER COUCH AND WOKE UP TO 29 YEAR-OLD-MIGUEL RODRIGUEZ ROLON STANDING OVER HER, THE VICTIM, SAYS HE CAME IN THROUGH HER UNLOCKED BACK DOOR. SHE SAYS RODRIGUEZ RALON RAPED HER, STOLE HER CAR AND FLED AND LEFT HER TIED UP ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR FOR THREE HOURS BEFORE SHE WAS ABLE TO CUT HERSELF FREE AND CALL FOR HELP. THE MOTIVE FOR THE ALLEGED RAPE IS UNCLEAR, AS THE SUSPECT'S ATTORNEY SAYS HE'S BEEN EXERCISING HIS RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT.
