Mercer Health’s Mercer County Community Hospital has been named to Newsweek’s Best-In-State Hospital list for 2025 and the Women’s Choice Award® as one of America’s Best Hospitals™ for Emergency Care for 2025.   

 

America’s Best-in-State Hospitals List Recognition

Being named to the list of America’s Best-In-State Hospital is a prestigious award, presented in collaboration with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Four data sources were used for the evaluation: quality metrics data, a nationwide online survey, patient experience, and patient-reported outcome measures. Furthermore, Mercer Health was recognized by Newsweek and Statista, with a patient experience award.  Hospitals with an outstanding performance in patient experience are recognized with a patient experience award, highlighting their dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. To qualify for the award, hospitals must demonstrate exceptional performance.

Women’s Choice Award® as one of America’s Best Hospitals™ for Emergency Care

Mercer Health’s Mercer County Community Hospital has received the 2025 Women’s Choice Award® as one of America’s Best Hospitals™ for Emergency Care. This evidence-based designation indicates that Mercer County Community Hospital meets high standards and is among the country’s best healthcare institutions based on criteria that consider patient satisfaction, patient recommendation rating, clinical performance and appropriate accreditations. Among all hospitals reviewed, Mercer Health’s Mercer County Community Hospital ranks in the top 3% for Emergency Care services.
