King Sworn in to Serve Ohio’s 84th House District for a Second Term
COLUMBUS – State Representative Angie King (R-Celina) took the oath of office recently for her second term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 84th House District, which includes Mercer County, northern Darke and southern Auglaize counties.
“I am truly honored to advocate as a strong voice for the 84th House District,” said King. “I look forward to getting to work on legislation to make Ohio a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
King introduced 15 pieces of legislation last general assembly. She secured millions of dollars in state funding for the district, signed into law legislation to support nursing mothers, champion getting Congress to repeal Windfall Elimination Provision to give public servants their full Social Security benefits and honored local service members with memorial road naming’s.
King and her husband, Mark, reside in Celina and have been married for more than 30 years and have two adult children and four grandchildren.
She was sworn in during Monday, Jan. 6 session, which marked the beginning of the 136th General Assembly.
