Mercer Health Welcomes First Baby of 2025

Mercer County Community Hospital’s first baby of the year was born on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. A baby boy, Conway Timothy Pearson, born to Nikki and Garth of Coldwater, arrived at 2:32 p.m., weighing 9 pounds, 15.3 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. He was welcomed by siblings, Korbyn and Terick.

The family received multiple gifts including a fresh 48 photography session by Beth Fortkamp, a Mercer Health blanket and mug, a basket of baby items (including diapers, a sleeper, baby books, a teether and lovey) as well as a $50 gift card from The Gift Shop at Mercer Health, a $25 Hazelnut Coffeehouse gift card and more! Congratulations!

Fun fact: In 2024 the Mercer Health Childbirth Center helped welcome 449 babies!
