Lima woman charged in October road rage crash


24 year old Bailey Luckett of Lima has been charged for her alleged role in an October road rage crash. Luckett is accused of stopping on the roadway in front of a Freightliner, forcing it to stop.The State Patrol stated Luckett then exited her vehicle and confronted the driver.  The Chrysler then struck the Freightliner. After the Chrysler struck the Freightliner, Luckett fled the scene. Luckett was later located and stopped by a trooper from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Lima Post. 44 year old David Shutt of Lima came upon the scene and struck the freightliner and died from his injuries. Luckett faces 3rd degree felony charges of reckless homicide, aggravated vehicular homicide and failure to stop after an accident. A date for Luckett to appear in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court has not been set.
