The 20th Annual Fort Festival of Trees is going on now until December 31, 2024 at the Fort Recovery Public Library. 20 beautifully decorated trees are on display. Trees are decorated by local businesses, organizations, families and individuals with each tree having a unique theme. Visitors to the Fort Festival of Trees are invited to vote for their favorite tree to help determine what tree will earn the People's Choice Award distinction. The winner of the 2023 Fort Festival of Trees was "Land of the Free Because of the Brave," decorated by the American Legion Auxiliary Post 345. The Festival of Trees is sponsored and organized by the Fort Recovery Friends of the Library, who recently celebrated their 20th year. The Friends of the Library was organized in 2004 in order to support the library by financing material needs and programs.
