A Fort Wayne, Indiana man was arrested this week on gun and drug charges. According to court documents, 36 year old Demond Rogan was pulled over by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for travelling 20 miles over the speed limit on State Route 49 near Tama Road. Rogan was believed to be under the influence of marijuana and told the trooper he had a firearm in the car. After it was determined that Rogan's driving privileges were under suspension, Rogan was arrested for OVI and improperly handling a firearm, driving under suspension and aggravated possession of drugs. The police also recovered a pill bottle with no label and 15 white pills. Rogan was taken to the Mercer County Jail where he is being held on a 75-thousand-dollar bond.
