At Monday Night's Meeting of the Celina City Council, the council heard from local resident Brandy Staugler who expressed her support for Celina Schools to always have a School Resource Officer and also asked when the public can expect the results of the fire department building report. Celina Mayor Jeff Hazel commented.

Later during the meeting, Celina City Auditor Brooke Shinn clarified how the city will use funds from the city's half-percent income tax to pay police and fire personnel.
