The Rockford Police have arrested 50 year old Alberto Cervantes on a 3rd Degree Felony Charge of attempted burglary. According to the complaint filed in Mercer County Common Pleas Court, Cervantes is accused of attempting to enter a detached garage at a residence on West Market Street in Rockford early Thursday morning. Cervantes was arrested after an investigation that included surveillance footage from the property owner. Cervantes is being held on a $50,000 bond pending an apperance in court.
