OSU POLICE CHIEF 

IN CENTRAL OHIO, THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY HAS A NEW POLICE CHIEF AND HE IS READY TO TACKLE AN INCREASING ON AND OFF CAMPUS CRIME RATE. 
OSU'S NEW POLICE CHIEF SAYS HE PLANS TO NOT ONLY FIND NEW WAYS TO CRACK DOWN ON CRIME ON CAMPUS, BUT TO FOCUS MORE ON OFF CAMPUS AREAS AS WELL. ACCORDING TO DATA WE REQUESTED FROM COLUMBUS POLICE, CRIMES LIKE BREAKING AND ENTERING HAVE STEADILY INCREASED IN THE UNIVERSITY DISTRICT AND OLENTANGY WEST AREAS SINCE 2022. DENNIS JEFFREY IS READY TO TAKE ON HIS NEW ROLE AS CHIEF OF THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
