By a vote of 4 to 2, the Celina City Council voted against the 3rd reading of an ordinance rezoning land on Industrial Drive that would have been used for an urgent care clinic from the Cincinnati based Mercy Health. During the meeting, there was discussion concerning possible deed restrictions on the site. Voting no were councilman Eric Clausen, Myron Buxton, Joe Wolfe and Thomas Sanford. Mark Fleck abstained. The Council heard from Michael Johnson, the senior development manager for Mercy Health.  Johnson addressed the concerns from the last council meeting concerning the deed restrictions.

Also, the Celina City Council passed an ordinance allowing residents to use automatic swimming pool covers in lieu of fencing around their pools. The Council also passed the second reading of an ordinance changing the zoning of land on Grand Lake Road from Residential to Manufacturing. To watch the Council Meeting in its entirety:
