Galleria Conference Center ownership to transfer to Mercer Health

At the October 23, 2024 Mercer Health Board of Governors meeting, the board approved the purchase of the Grand Lake Galleria Conference Center in Celina.  “Certainly, it’s been a long time coming, but we are finally ready to move forward with the purchase of the Galleria,” stated Jon Dingledine, Mercer Health’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.  The official transfer of ownership will take place on November 18^th.

“The purchase of the Galleria, along with the space in the adjacent Big Bear building, will allow us to continue to meet the needs of the Celina community and our region,” continued Dingledine. The facility, currently owned by Remer Holding Corp., based out of Quebec, Canada, is 60,000 square feet with Mercer Health currently occupying a little less than half.  Mercer Health has leased space in the Galleria location since the Fall of 2012 when they brought primary care and pediatric services to the Galleria location.  In the Fall of 2015, Mercer Health transitioned and expanded the operations of its Home Care, Medical Equipment and Rehabilitation Services at the Galleria.
