Illegal voting charges dropped against Benjamin King

10 counts of felony illegal voting charges have been dropped against 47 year old Benjamin King. Last month, Mercer County Common Pleas Court Judge Matt Fox granted a motion from Mercer County Assistant Prosecutor Anthony Miller that vacated the charges. In January, a grand jury indicted King on charges that King allegedly voted in several elections dating back to 2019, when King was not a legally qualified elector. Mercer County Board of Elections members at a public hearing last year unanimously voted to revoke King’s voter registration address at 115 East Anthony Street. King is appealing that decision. Benjamin King is the brother of Celina City Council President Jason King and the Brother-In-Law to State Representative Angie King.
