69 year old Pamela Wendel of St Marys faces a criminal charge stemming from a fatal traffic accident that occured in July of this year in St Marys. According to Auglaize County Municipal Court Records, Wendel faces a 2nd degree misdemeanor charge of Vehicular Manslaughter. According to the St Marys Police, Wendel was leaving Two Scoops Ice Cream shop on East Spring Street on July 7th when she failed to yield to 66 year old Debra Kiser of Wapakoneta who was on a motorcycle. The motorcycle ended up striking Wendel's car. Kiser died of complications of her injuries last month. Wendel is due to appear in Auglaize County Municipal Court for her arraignment on Wednesday October 23rd at 2 pm. Wendel faces up to 90 days in jail along with a 750 dollar fine and a license suspension of 3 months to 2 years.
