Celina City tables re-zoning ordinance for new urgent care clinic


At Monday Night's meeting of the Celina City Council, the council voted to table the third reading of an ordinance changing the zoning classification of a portion of property owned by JES Enterprises of Celina at 1800 Industrial Drive from M-2 Light Manufacturing District to B-3 Community Shopping District for a future urgent clinic from Mercy Health. The vote to table was 3 to 2. Mark Fleck abstained. Tom Sanford, Joe Wolfe and Myron Buxton voted yes. Matt Gray and Eric Baltzell voted no. In other business, the Celina City Council passed the first reading of an Ordinance amending Ordinance 69-01-O to change the zoning classification of the properties owned by Sharkey Holdings LLC (457 Grand Lake Road) from R-O Residential/Office District to M-1 Manufacturing District.
