2 men have been arrested recently for their alleged roles in the January 6th, 2021 riot at the US Capital. Federal records state that Todd Michael Bills and Richard Gutowski are both charged with entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, picketing, and demonstrating in a Capitol building. Bills, who has ties to the Coldwater Community, was arrested by the FBI Monday in Toledo. Gutkowski was arrested this past Friday in Defiance. Gutkowski is from New Jersey. Both men have posted bond. An affidavit filed by the FBI says that cellphone data placed Bills at the Capitol for about 17 minutes during the riot and he also appeared on video recordings. The FBI interviewed a person who knew Bills and confirmed his identity as that of a person from a video screen grab. Bills will appear in federal court later this month.
