Former Coldwater EMS employee may face additional charges


Former Coldwater EMS Employee Ashlee Heinl-Botkin may face additional charges after she was already indicted on 20 counts last year related to the alleged theft of drugs from EMS. Heinl-Botkin was charged with felonies that included theft of drugs and possession of a fentanyl related compound. The original indictment stated the drugs involved included entanyl, diazepam and Benadryl.According to a motion filed in Mercer County Common Pleas Court, by prosecutor Erin Minor, the state has obtained evidence of potential additional crimes and the matter remains under investigation.
