50 year old Kimberly Slaven of Coldwater has been sentenced to up to 3 years of community control sanctions for one 4th degree felony count of safecracking. Slaven was sentenced this week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. Slaven was accused of stealing approximately 3-thousand-dollars and doing so by entering or forcing entrance into a vault, a strongbox or a safe. Slaven was originally charged with safecracking and theft. The charges were amended as part of a plea agreement.
