Injury Crash in Union County Marysville-

The Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a two-car injury crash.

The crash occurred at approximately 12:06 AM on US 33 east of Honda Parkway.

A 2013 Honda Civic operated by Leanne R. Orozco, age 28 of Galloway was traveling westbound on US 33 at a high rate of speed.

A 2014 Hyundai Elantra operated by Seth M. Norman, age 34 of Saint Marys was also traveling west bound on US 33.

Ms. Orozco failed to maintain a sure clear distance ahead and struck Mr. Norman.

Ms. Orozco was transported from the scene with serious injuries, by Medflight to OSU medical center due to her injuries.

Mr. Norman did not report any injuries.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Allen Township Fire and EMS, Northwestern EMS, Marysville Fire department, Medflight, Marysville Police Division, and the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash. Both Drivers were found to be wearing their safety belts.

The Patrol reminds motorists to never drive impaired. If you do drink be responsible, and find alternate means of transportation.
