Several people were injured in a 2 vehicle traffic accident Wednesday Night in Mercer County. According to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, a 911 call was received just after 8 pm at the intersection of Burkettsville-St Henry and Siegrist Jutte Road. 59 year old Lester Evers of St Henry made a right hand turn onto Burkettsville St Henry and failed to yield to a truck being driven by 49 year old Donald Eisenhut of Celina. Eisenhut was carrying 6 passengers. 4 passengers were injured with one injury reported as serious. This accident remains under investigation at this time.
