39 year old James Whitted of Rockford was arrested Sunday on a 1st degree misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. According to the police, Whitted, who has an extensive record in Celina Municipal Court, knowingly attempted to cause physical harm to his wife by chest bumping her and yelling in her face during an argument. Whitted was taken to the Mercer County Jail where he was held without bond pending an appearance in court.
