Mercer County Engineer, Jim Wiechart, is announcing the intermittent closing of Philothea Road, from St. Peter Road to Erastus-Durbin Road in Recovery Township. The intermittent closing of this road is necessary to allow for the installation of drainage items; as well as roadside shoulder widening. This is in preparation for asphaltic concrete resurfacing widening and resurfacing to be done later this year. This road will be closed intermittently over the next several months.

Local access will be maintained with, at variable times, access having to be from one direction or the other.
