No one was injured when a warehouse was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning at 8246 Lutterbeck Airport Road near the Neil Armstrong airport in the New Knoxville area. According to radio traffic, the fire was reported just before 9:30 am. The warehouse, which contained metal duct work, was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene. The New Knoxville fire department was assisted by St Marys, St Marys Township, Buckland, New Bremen, Van Buren, Botkins, Minster and St Johns. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
