WOCAP names Kim Bruns as their new CEO

West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kimberly Bruns as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 04/01/2024.

Kimberly brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role. Serving as one of two Acting CEO’s since August 2023, Kimberly has exemplified exceptional leadership qualities, overseeing all aspects of WOCAP's day-to-day operations with efficiency and expertise.

Her impressive background includes extensive work within the community, notably as the Director of Community Services and Director of Employment and Training Services at WOCAP. Kimberly's commitment to serving individuals and families in our communities has been evident throughout her career. From developing innovative programs to ensuring compliance with regulations and managing budgets responsibly, Kimberly's contributions have made a significant impact on the lives of those we serve.

Prior to her tenure at WOCAP, Kimberly held various leadership positions, including Northwest Ohio Area Manager at Liberty Mobility Now Inc., and Care Manager at Area Agency On Aging 3. Her diverse experience and tireless advocacy for community empowerment make her the ideal candidate to lead WOCAP into the future.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Kimberly is actively involved in community initiatives, serving on boards and committees dedicated to improving the well-being of others. Her commitment to social justice and community development aligns perfectly with WOCAP's mission and values.
