Murder suspect Larry Andrus Jr. will stand trial in August in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court. Andrus is charged in the September 2023 death of 59 year old Roy Watts in Van Wert. Andrus fled the area after he was indicted in November of last year by a Grand Jury. Andrus was found and arrested in Florida.Andrus's attorney has indicated Andrus intends to claim self defense at his trial. Andrus faces murder charges along with charges of felonious assault and strangulation.
