CLE MONKEYPOX 
HEALTH OFFICIALS HAVE CONFIRMED THE FIRST CASE OF MONKEYPOX IN CLEVELAND. 
THE CLEVELAND DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, OHIO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT LATE THURSDAY MORNING. CLEVELAND CITY OFFICIALS SAY THE INDIVIDUAL HAS HAD "VERY LIMITED" CONTACT WITH OTHERS FOR THE PAST 21 DAYS AND, AT THIS TIME, BELIEVE THAT MONKEYPOX IS NOT PRESENTING A RISK TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN CLEVELAND. PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS SAY THEY WILL REACH OUT TO ANYONE AFFECTED BY THE CASE.
