YOST WARRANTS

OHIO'S ATTORNEY GENERAL ANNOUNCED A PLAN YESTERDAY (THURSDAY) TO PRESERVE CONTROVERSIAL NO-KNOCK WARRANTS. ATTORNEY GENERAL DAVE YOST - ALONG WITH THE PROSECUTORS FOR HAMILTON, FRANKLIN AND CUYAHOGA COUNTIES - MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT. YOST SAYS HE'S WORKING ON A COMPROMISE TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE USED PROPERLY...THESE RECOMMENDATIONS WOULD REQUIRE CHANGES TO STATE LAW... SO THEY NEED APPROVAL BY THE OHIO HOUSE... SENATE AND GOVERNOR DEWINE. NO-KNOCK WARRANTS CAME UNDER SCRUTINY AFTER THE DEATH OF BREONNA TAYLOR IN LOUISVILLE.
