CLEVELAND STORE SHOOTING


AUTHORITIES SAY A MAN ACCUSED IN THE FATAL SHOOTING OF A BEVERAGE STORE CLERK IN OHIO DURING AN ARMED ROBBERY HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED MURDER.  CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL COURT RECORDS SHOW 18-YEAR-OLD ANDRE MCKELVEY IS CHARGED IN THE FATAL SHOOTING OF 33-YEAR-OLD CLERK MOHAMED SHAHIN. CLEVELAND.COM REPORTS THAT POLICE SAY MCKELVEY AND ANOTHER SUSPECT STORMED THE STORE FEB. 5 AND SHOTS WERE EXCHANGED WITH SHAHIN.   POLICE SAY SHAHIN WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD AND DIED AT A HOSPITAL. MCKELVEY WAS SHOT IN THE NECK.   POLICE SAY MCKELVEY AND THE OTHER ARMED SUSPECT FLED AND MCKELVEY WAS APPREHENDED A SHORT TIME LATER. AUTHORITIES HAVEN'T IDENTIFIED THE OTHER SUSPECT.
