The Union representing faculty at the Wright State University has filed an unfair labor practice claim with the state of Ohio's employment relations board. In a statement, the union indicates they feel the school's administration did not negotiate at all following the issuance of a fact finding report. The Union announced its intent to strike following Wright State's decision to impose a "last, best offer" recently. The school has indicated classes would be on at its facilities, including the Lake Campus in Celina, if a strike were to occur. In a statement, Wright State University President Dr. Cheryl announced Wright State’s intent is to stay open and to keep making classes available for students. It is expected that instructors would be used to fill in for anyone on strike, including classes at the Lake Campus in Celina.
