Ohio State Football Coach Urban Meyer retires-will be replaced by Ryan Day

Ohio State Head Football Coach Urban Meyer announced his retirement Tuesday at a press conference in Columbus. Meyer ended his career as Ohio State's Coach with a record of 82-9. In Big Ten play, Meyer's Buckeyes had seven division titles, three conference championships and a national championship after the 2014 season. Meyer shared his thoughts during the Press Conference.

Following Urban Meyer's statement, current Offensive Coordinator Ryan Day was announced as Ohio State's new Head Football Coach. Day spoke during the Press Conference.

Urban Meyer will coach the Buckeyes one last time, on January 1st, when the Buckeyes play against the Washington Huskies in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
