Ohio State Highway Patrol Releases Details on fatal accident Monday Afternoon

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports a 16 year old St Marys girl was killed in a 2 vehicle accident Monday afternoon. The patrol reports 16 year old Kennedy Schreiber was northbound on Townline-Kossuth Road just before 3 pm when she failed to stop at the stop sign located at US 33. A car driven by 35 year old Brian Grube of Piqua struck Schreiber's vehicle. Schreiber was pronounced dead at the scene by the Auglaize County Coroner's office. Her 2 passengers, 17 year olds Carson Liming and Joseph Zartman, both of St Marys sustained incapacitating injuries. Brian Grube also sustained serious injuries. All 3 were taken to Lima hospitals for treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
