54 year old Dayton man sentenced in check forging case

54 year old Timothy Frazier of Dayton was sentenced to 12 months in prison this week for his role in a ring involved in forging checks using the account of local livestock companies. Frazier was indicted over the summer on 9 counts of forgery, 7 counts of theft and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Frazier was sentenced this week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. The prison time will run concurrent to a sentence Frazier received for similar crimes in Auglaize County.
